Part-time/Full-time: 3-5 Days Per Week
The Marketing Manager will lead and execute the company’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand positioning within the construction industry. Managing the Content Creator and Graphic Designer, this role will oversee brand development, marketing projects, and internal communication initiatives.
The role focuses on strategic planning, project management, briefing, reporting, marketing meetings, newsletters, budgeting, internal event coordination, and site branding. Additionally, it involves overseeing photoshoots, styling, visual storytelling, and general design to showcase completed projects, company culture, and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Industry Positioning
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to support business growth and enhance brand reputation.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and industry positioning across all marketing materials.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Marketing Activity Coordination
- Oversee and manage all marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams (contracts managers, leadership, and operations) to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as photographers, print suppliers, and signage companies, as needed.
Briefing & Project Management
- Develop clear and structured briefs for the Content Creator and Graphic Designer, outlining objectives, timelines, and expectations.
- Ensure all marketing materials maintain a high standard of quality and align with brand guidelines.
- Track progress and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and analyse marketing performance, providing reports on engagement, brand awareness, and internal impact.
- Measure ROI on marketing activities and provide insights to improve future strategies.
- Ensure all marketing efforts contribute to the company’s broader business goals.
Marketing Meetings & Documentation
- Chair regular marketing meetings, setting clear agendas and driving strategic discussions.
- Document key takeaways and action points, ensuring follow-through on decisions and initiatives.
Creative & Visual Content Development
- Oversee branding, internal communication materials, and visual content creation.
- Lead photoshoots for completed construction projects and company initiatives, ensuring high-quality content for internal and external use.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand aesthetic across all platforms.
Hoarding & Site Branding
- Manage the design and production of construction site hoardings, ensuring they align with brand identity and project messaging.
- Ensure hoardings reflect company values, project highlights, and relevant health & safety information where required.
- Oversee the placement and maintenance of site signage, banners, and wayfinding materials.
Internal Event Coordination
- Plan and manage internal company events.
- Support leadership in communicating key company updates and fostering employee engagement.
Ideal Background & Skills:
- Strong marketing strategy and leadership experience.
- Proven ability to plan, brief, and manage marketing activities effectively.
- Experience in branding, hoarding design, visual storytelling, and content creation.
- Strong analytical skills to report on performance and optimise marketing strategies.
- Experience in photoshoots, styling, and marketing project management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage internal events and corporate communications to enhance team engagement.
- Experience working with signage, print production, and construction site branding.
