Hawk House
Ipsden, Oxfordshire
PROJECT TYPE: Whole-House Cabinetry
INTERIOR DESIGNER: Moss Living
OVERVIEW: Whole-house cabinetry for the unique, contemporary residence, set deep into the Oxfordshire countryside, includes bedroom suites, a study, a living room, and a clock room. Designed to align with an ordered, perfectly engineered aesthetic, the made-to-measure cabinetry throughout offers clean simple lines and clever storage solutions.

STUDY
A whole-wall in-frame library unit and matched window seat exhibit traditional cock bead detailing. Hand-painted in Sage Green by Little Green with contrasting oak tops and shelving, bespoke elements include specifically sized file drawers and a concealed printer space, with a pull-out work ledge. Handles by Armac Martin are in burnished brass.

SNUG
A concealed television unit features an automatic rise and tilt system, allowing the screen to be viewed or hidden, as required. Opposite, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry offers games storage in the base cupboards and shelving for books and objets d’art above. Pieces are finished in De Nimes by Farrow & Ball, with matt bronze ironmongery by Corston.

GUEST BEDROOM
Built-in wardrobes, including made-to-measure suitcase storage, offer ample drawer space and open shelving for visitors' belongings. The Lamp Room Gray (Farrow & Ball) hand-painted finish and natural oak internals are complimented by pull handles, by Corston, in antique unlacquered brass.

CHILDREN'S BEDROOM
A bespoke window seat and floor-to-ceiling wardrobe bank, manufactured to a simple in-frame slimline Shaker-style design, exhibit uniform matt black pull handles by Corston and are painted in Farrow & Ball’s Pavilion Gray.
